How do you book a cart?

There are a couple of ways of booking.  You can submit an inquiry through our Contact Us page or you may email, text or call us.  If the date is available, we will discuss pricing and delivery fees.  We can also chat about customizations and add-ons, if interested.  We do have bundle deals, if you would like to rent more than one cart.

How do I pay and when?

Once we confirm the date is available and decide which cart(s) you will use for your event, I will send you an invoice.  To reserve a date, a $50 deposit is required and will be deducted from your total bill.  You may cancel within 2 weeks of your reserved date and your $50 will be refunded to you.  The remaining balance will be due upon delivery.  You may pay the deposit via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash-app and the remaining balance can be paid with the above choices or cash.

How long is the rental period?

The standard rental period is 24 hours.  We can discuss delivery and pick up times to make it convenient for both of us.  If you need the item for longer, we can also discuss that as an option.

Question 4

What are the delivery fees and service areas offered?

Please contact us for a quote based on the location of the event.    Due to high gas prices I have narrowed my delivery window to less than a 45 minute drive from Dryden,  MI 48428.   An after hour fee of $20 will be added to any pickup after 10pm.

Can I pick up the rental item from The Sweet Cart Co?

No, we prefer to deliver the item(s) so that they are  properly handled and to minimize potential damage.  We will also set up the item at your location to ensure that the assembly is correct.

Question 6

What is Live Spinning Cotton Candy? Can't I just rent the machine?

Accepted Answer

Cotton Candy machines are expensive and finicky.  It takes practice and understanding of the machine to be able to keep the machine working properly without overheating. Based on this, we only offer Live Spinning by our company.

What is Live Spinning?  
We have a trained Cotton Candy Specialist who will bring the cart to your event and spin the cotton candy for you.   You can sit back, relax and have your guests enjoy a unique treat of freshly spun cotton candy on a cone.   On average, with a trained spinner, these types of machines can produce around 45 cones an hour.

Question 7

Dry Ice Info and Locator

Accepted Answer

Dry ice is great to add to the cooler on those hot days to make sure the treats stay nice and cold.  You can pick some up at these stores.  You will need about 3-4 lbs total for the 2 bags in the cooler.  Typical price per lb of dry ice is around $2.29.
If you would like me to pick up some dry ice for you the day of your rental that may be an option depending on my delivery schedule. A $20 charge will be added which will include the 3-4 lbs of dry ice needed.
